Job Title: Practice Coordinator 2

Location(s): Oakland, CA

Job Description
We are seeking a Practice Coordinator 2 to support a high-volume Pediatric Surgery clinic in a fully onsite capacity. This is a short-term assignment with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Location: Onsite - Pediatric Surgery Clinic
• Duration: 1 month (potential for temp-to-perm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide front desk support including patient check-in/check-out and registration
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow coordination
• Perform back-office administrative duties to support clinic operations
• Handle high patient volume (approximately 100 patients per day)
• Ensure accurate data entry and adherence to clinic workflows
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and clinical staff

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Professional demeanor and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Quick learner with the ability to follow established procedures
• Prior experience with APeX (EPIC) required

Additional Information:

• Experience is not required; however, candidates must be able to work efficiently in a busy healthcare setting
• Only APeX-trained candidates will be considered at this time
• Opportunity for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance and business needs
