Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing environmental programs and initiatives by ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, developing and implementing sustainable practices, and promoting environmental stewardship.

Essential Functions:
-Monitor and ensure compliance with local, regional, and national environmental regulations and permits.
-Develop and implement an environmental sustainability strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
-Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
-Develop and update environmental policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
-Establish and manage environmental performance metrics and reporting systems.
-Develop and implement strategies to minimize the organization's environmental impact.
-Develop and manage the environmental affairs budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for sustainability initiatives and projects.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Environmental Sciences required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Experience
Environmental Compliance Experience 3-5 years required and Sustainability Experience 2-3 years required and Management Experience 1-2 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and certifications.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
