Job Summary Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team and provide high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping patients restore functional independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. The Occupational Therapist practices within the professional scope defined by the Georgia Occupational Therapy Act, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery and maximize functional outcomes. In this role, the Occupational Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates occupational therapy interventions for patients referred to the Occupational Therapy Department at Grady. The therapist may rotate through designated service areas to build and maintain competency across multiple clinical environments, including hospital units, ambulatory clinics, long-term care settings, and community-based care environments. Care is provided to a diverse patient population with varying levels of medical and functional complexity. Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Licensed or license-eligible as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Georgia, with proof of Georgia licensure required at the commencement of employment
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical occupational therapy experience
- Demonstrated area of clinical expertise through professional experience and/or additional certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in a teaching hospital or academic medical center
