Description

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect, build, and operate highimpact mobile applications used across our enterprise. In this role, you'll lead mobile design decisions, build scalable Flutter apps, and integrate seamlessly with cloudnative backend systems. You'll combine deep handson engineering with architectural leadership-owning production systems endtoend while helping elevate mobile engineering standards.

This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Round Rock or Temple, TX.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain Flutterbased mobile applications using clean, scalable architectures
  • Serve as a technical lead for mobile solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and longterm maintainability
  • Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and microservices built in Java and deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Own solutions endtoend-from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and support
  • Apply modern state management, performance optimization, and mobile best practices
  • Partner closely with backend, product, and platform teams in a microservicesbased environment
  • Lead CI/CD automation for mobile builds and releases
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and technical coaching

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience building production Flutter mobile apps at scale
  • Expertise in mobile architecture, clean architecture patterns, and state management
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with Javabased backend services and APIs
  • Comfort working in cloudnative environments (GCP preferred)
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloudintegrated mobile development
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ownership mindset for performance and quality
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across product, platform, and infrastructure teams
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

Education & Experience Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production mobile systems
