Our Security Officers at a leading educational location monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help discourage security-related incidents while supporting students, faculty, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the campus location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and policy compliance in a professional manner.
• Support daily operations at an educational location by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and following post orders for routine and special event coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
