As a Security Officer Campus Rover in Elmont, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. This role blends customer service, communication, and routine patrols with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and provide clear directions and assistance to the public.
• Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and completing detailed incident and activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
