POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer will support our corporate and field analytics needs. This role focuses on building new and extending existing data models to support corporate analytics initiatives and goals. Develop insights to data by creating accurate, reliable and timely information by creating advance visualization dashboards/reports. The successful applicant will have a wide range of technical competencies; including, but not limited to: Power BI modeling and visualization, query languages, database architecture (ETL), and a diversity in reporting technologies.


Responsibilities

  1. Writes and maintains functional and technical specifications.
  2. Develops, maintains, and supports ETL processes for loading data from multiple data sources into an enterprise structure data layer and automating the process.
  3. Develops and designs reports and visualizations that help drive actionable results and enable stakeholders to have a quick speed to insights.
  4. Analyzes code for problem resolution and performance optimizations.
  5. Provides technical consulting and respond to error reports, problems or questions.
  6. Develops self-sustained, impactful dashboards using Power BI.
  7. Studies, analyzes and understands business requirements in context to business intelligence.
  8. Designs and maps data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
  9. Develops strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Health Administration, Information Technology or related field.
  • 8+ years of Data Analytics experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using SQL and DAX language.
  • Experience with Power BI, Oracle, SSMS, SAS and Microsoft BI Stack
  • Proficient with SharePoint, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Master's degree, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing data management teams in a healthcare or related industry, preferred.
  • 5+ years experience with financial forecast and budget responsibilities, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient with SharePoint, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present ideas and concepts effectively.
  • Subject matter expertise in programming, statistics, machine learning, linear algebra and calculus, data visualization, communication, data wrangling and software engineering, preferred.
  • Proven ability to understand business and clinical issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into reports, dashboards, and projections, preferred.
  • Familiarity or practical use of the following tools SAS, EPIC, Power BI, machine learning and data visualization, preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills, preferred.
