Job Description

SEMCO - Manager Engineering Services

SEMCO has an immediate need for a Manager of Engineering Services to plan and manage the Company's engineering team supporting the design of plant and pipeline facilities, and project management of new and replacement gas infrastructure projects.

You Will:

  • Plan and implement policies and programs in support of corporate and department goals.

  • Plan, organize and manage the engineering of plant and pipeline facilities, material standards, and company procedures.

  • Leads and/or supports company key projects and initiatives.

  • Manages engineering staff to perform reliability improvements, root cause analysis, and quality improvement programs.

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and inspections.

  • Ensures company internal control procedures and financial processes are followed. Periodically review internal controls and financial processes for improvement.

  • Trains, monitors, motivates, coaches, develops, and evaluates employees. Achieves financial objectives by sound management of financial resources through budget preparation, monitoring of fees and costs, and analysis and/or justification for the use of financial resources.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.

  • Project Management experience or PMP certification preferred.

  • Minimum of eight years of engineering experience.

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.

We offer a competitive salary range of $107,600 to $156,360 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
