Tractor Trailor Driver - Royal Waste Job Description Royal Waste Services, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safetyfocused Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team in Queens, NY. In this role, you will operate a tractor trailer to transport solid waste and recyclables between transfer stations, disposal sites, and customer locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Safely operate a tractor trailer to haul solid waste and recyclables to designated facilities * Perform pre and posttrip inspections, ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition * Transport loads between transfer stations, landfills, and customer sites according to route assignments * Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT, company, and environmental regulations * Maintain accurate driver logs, scale tickets, and required documentation * Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or equipment issues * Maneuver tractor trailer in tight or congested areas, including transfer stations and customer yards * Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with customers or site personnel * Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: * Work is performed outdoors and in all weather conditions * Exposure to dust, odors, and loud noise at transfer stations and disposal sites * Requires climbing in and out of the cab and hooking/unhooking trailers * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Valid Class A CDL * Clean driving record * Experience operating tractor trailers, waste industry preferred Apply today and Connect with Your Future! https://careers.wasteconnections.com/us/en/ Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
