Clerk II, Warehouse

Under close supervision (Warehouse Clerk II, performs a variety of manual, clerical and computer tasks related to stock replenishment, order picking, packing, and shipping of Zeiss products to meet customer and Zeiss specifications.

This is an intermediate level position. Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of manual, clerical and computer related to stock replenishment, order picking, packing and shipping of company's product to meet customer and company's specifications. Maintains documentation of goods shipped and received and monitors inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels. Follows SOP. This job level will be proficient in a minimum of 3 areas (picking, receiving, replenishment, consolidation, shipping, order cycle counts, fork lifts and inventory).

Guidance from Lead or Supervisor is readily available.

Here's what you'll do:

• Compile and fill customer orders.
• Receive and stock inventory.
• Participate in physical inventory counts to verify product levels.
• Cycle count and investigate inventory daily.
• Pick, pack, and ship products according to specifications.
• Perform SAP and other data entry functions.
• Maintain routine paperwork and documentation.
• Interface with other Warehouse Clerks and departmental staff to share and coordinate workload.
• Interact and share information with other departments, including Customer Service, Supply Chain Management.
• Re-pack lenses.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with 6S guidelines.
• Work within guidelines of basic lean initiatives, while preventing waste.
• Participate in on-site lean initiatives and training.
• Perform additional task as directed
• Perform other duties assigned

Do you qualify?

• 1 year warehouse experience

• Preferred 1-3 years warehouse experience

• Effective communication

• Strong initiative and follow-up skills

• Time management skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Requires the ability to lift up to50 lbs, stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb, reach, crouch, operate a forklift and pallet jack, and perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities. Manual dexterity, basic math skills, and good vision are required

• Verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Requires the ability to retain information and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
