Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

In this 6-8-week sprint, you will focus on high-impact support tasks:

1. Core Finance Support

- Reporting Assistance: Support the monthly P&L reporting process by preparing templates and performing basic variance analysis (Plan vs. Actual).

- Data Alignment: Help reconcile SG&A spend and headcount categories to ensure reporting consistency across global functions.

- Monthly Business Reviews: Assist with the preparation of reporting decks, including financial KPIs and business event summaries.

2. Systems & Project Exposure

While the focus is on core support, you will gain exposure to strategic initiatives through participation and observation:

- Data Hygiene (AR & Past Due): Assist with data mapping and "clean-up" tasks to support the consolidation of Accounts Receivable datasets.

- Process Automation: Observe the transition of manual spreadsheet workflows into automated SQL queries and participate in logic validation sessions.

- Governance Meetings: Attend project meetings regarding data controls and Power BI dashboard migrations to understand enterprise-level data governance.

Qualifications

- Academic: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, data analytics and information systems or a related field.

- Technical: Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and a proactive approach to handling large datasets.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clear, concise updates.

- Attributes: High attention to detail, a desire to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional setting.
