Job Description: Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Journeyman Security Management Specialist with a TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to support HQ AFMC A2 in managing Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations across their full lifecycle. The role includes preparing security documentation, supporting inspections, performing escort and courier duties, monitoring classified material handling, and managing databases related to personnel, access, and facilities. The Security Management Specialist will also assist with SCIF accreditation, system integration, and physical security evaluations while ensuring compliance with ICD 705, NISPOM, and other governing directives. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and plays a vital role in safeguarding HQ AFMC A2's security posture. Duties/ Responsibilities
- Attend meetings and prepare/present briefings, graphics, and visuals for leadership.
- Prepare security paperwork, including DD Form 2875 and COMSEC inspection criteria.
- Assist in access control, perform escort duties for VTC visitors, and answer administrative communications.
- Conduct self-inspections, identify security discrepancies, report incidents, and support formal inspections.
- Perform courier responsibilities within the local area, and maintain control of program media and classified information in accordance with AFMC guidelines.
- Populate and update databases, including suspense tracking, personnel access, facility, JWICS, and SharePoint.
- Perform daily opening and closing of the SCIF and respond to after-hours alarm activations.
- Handle JWICS communications to ensure proper coordination and response, while maintaining appropriate security disciplines.
- Support the handling, preparation, and tracking of physical classified products entering or leaving the facility.
- Assist in the planning, editing, development, publication, and storage of SAP and TS/SCI products.
- Provide support for meetings and events attended or hosted by the Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO).
- Maintain schedules and calendars on multi-level security systems.
- Perform classification reviews of JWICS IT documentation using SCGs to ensure proper derivative classification.
- Provide A&AS support in SCIF management, including design, accreditation, lifecycle management, and decommissioning.
- Review customer processes for compliance with security policy.
- Assist with SCIF-related documentation (Concept Validation Requests, Fixed Facility Checklists, Construction Security Plans, TEMPEST Forms, co-utilization requests).
- Support SCIF security system integration, design, and management, while identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventive measures.
- Oversee quality management systems and conduct physical security inspections.
- Recommend corrective actions, document findings, and develop security solutions and improvements.
- Maintain SCIF resource databases, including receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition.
- Conduct executive-level briefings on SCIF security posture and program status.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience with SCIF accreditation governance IAW 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, ICD 705 series.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and CNSS Instruction 1253.
- Strong knowledge of SCIF lifecycle management, physical security, and classified material handling.
- Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively across multiple levels.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- U.S. citizenship required
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience supporting HQ AFMC A2 or similar IC security programs.
- Hands-on experience with SCIF construction, inspection, and decommissioning.
- Familiarity with JWICS communications, SAP security, and multi-level security systems.
- DoDM 8140/8570 certification or other security-related credentials highly desirable.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Travel Requirement:
- Occasional, including site visits, assessments, and program reviews.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
