| Job Description |
Under limited supervision, responsible for designing and developing software applications and solutions, conducting in-depth user testing of software releases, plug-ins and integrations. The software engineer must understand analysis, design and coding concepts. The software engineer must be able to support QA efforts; this includes documenting acceptance workbooks and assisting users with acceptance testing of software deliverables. Other requirements include documenting and implementing security principles, attending regular sprint meetings and the ability to perform in a team environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support mission requirements.

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience-Requirements:
* Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Must be able to obtain Windows MCST and Security + within 6 months of hire.
Job Skills Requirements:
* Must have proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, React.js, Postgres/SQL, Docker and Git.
* Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Microsoft Visual Studio Code
* Must have proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the core technologies of the web.
* Must have a strong understanding of user testing methodologies.
* Must be able to learn new technologies and adapt to various development environments.
* Must have experience with data analysis, data processing or working in a test and evaluation environment.
* Must have good oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
* Must have demonstrated ability to perform their duties with a high level of attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
* Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
* Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the section SOPs.
* Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.
Job Requirements:
* Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
* Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.
* Must be able speak, write, read, and understand English.
* Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.
* Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.
* Must use "down-time" effectively to the benefit of test, self, and company.
* Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
* Must demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability.
* Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions.
* Must have a demonstrated ability to follow instructions and company policy.
* Must be able to deliver quality products to the customer and be responsive to their needs.
* Must be safety and security conscious, complying with rules and policies.
* Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience in agile development methods.
* Experience with MVC framework.
* Experience working with AI/ML systems.
Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and not hold multiple citizenships.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
* Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
