Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist project engineers with performing research and planning for preventive maintenance and corrective actions to maintain qualification status of GMP process and support equipment

  • Assist with documentation for shutdown activities including development, updates, and closure of applicable documents

  • Assist or observe engineering work on the manufacturing floor for isolated filling lines and related process support equipment

  • Responsible for execution of an Engineering project and will present to teams at the end of the internship.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Physically able to wear laboratory protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Comfortable with working/handling of hazardous materials

  • Ability to work Monday-Friday or as required dependent on business needs

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Must be 18 years of age.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to follow written and verbal instruction

  • Organizational and prioritization skills

  • Good oral communication skills are required

  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision

*The hiring rate for this position is $17.75 per hour. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
