Coating Compounder

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Coating Compounder is to be responsible for keeping latex mixed and ready for use. Confer with supervisor for the proper mix to make.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Check latex and raw materials.
• Prepare appropriate latex mix for the day.
• Wash the tank thoroughly before resuming the cycle.
• When a raw material arrives, ensure it is placed in the correct holding tank.
• Keep a record of in and out weights of the bill.
• Keep a record of ingredients used in the mix on the Latex Log Sheet.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with computers and/or data entry skills
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch for long periods of time.
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
