Client Relations (PAID TEMPORARY INTERNSHIP) - Woodstock, Georgia

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-ready intern to serve as a shared resource supporting both our Operations and Business Development teams. This role is ideal for a strong communicator who thrives on writing, client interaction, and the fast-paced world of proposal and contract support. You will gain hands-on experience in the federal government contracting space - from responding to client inquiries to helping shape the materials that win new business.

Key Responsibilities




  • Research, draft, and edit Requests for Information (RFIs), capability statements, and other BD response documents.





  • Support the proposal development lifecycle, including formatting, editing, and proofreading submissions to ensure compliance and quality.





  • Assist the Operations team with internal documentation, process write-ups, and status reporting.





  • Maintain and update BD tracking tools, pipeline logs, and opportunity databases.





  • Conduct market and competitor research to support capture planning and strategic positioning.





  • Collaborate across Operations and Business Development teams to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated delivery on shared priorities.




Skills & Qualifications:




  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - clear, concise, and professional.





  • Comfortable engaging with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional setting.





  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly.





  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.





  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).





  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively across teams.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Prior experience or coursework in proposal writing, government contracting, communications, or business development.





  • Familiarity with federal procurement processes, RFIs, RFPs, or GovWin/SAM.gov is a strong plus.





  • Experience in a client-facing or professional writing role (internship, co-op, or coursework).
