Job Description

The Senior Learning and Development Partner will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive learning strategies that support organizational goals, enhance employee skills, and drive performance improvements. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and change management, as well as strong leadership skills to mentor the team and collaborate across departments
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative learning programs and course curriculum across various formats (e-learning, instructor-led training, blended learning).
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the development and delivery of leadership development programs and succession planning efforts.
  • Utilize data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make continuous improvements.
  • Manage and coach L&D professionals to build a high-performing team.
  • Stay current with certifications, industry trends, learning technologies, and best practices to integrate into the learning strategy.
  • Utilize the learning management system (LMS), ensuring content is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Lead change management efforts to support learning adoption and behavioral change across the organization.
  • Manage multiple learning programs, projects, and processes to support the employee experience.
  • Coach leaders and employees with learning processes and programs to engage talent with proper performance and development paths.
  • Identify metrics to track and analyze learning programs. processes, engagement survey actions, performance, development and retention for employees.
  • Partner with leaders, employees and the HR team to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to maximize employee potential, career path and succession planning for the employee life cycle.
  • Initiate with a creative and innovative mindset to balance organizational needs and business capabilities while demonstrating strong leadership relationships with a passion for developing others
  • Ability to implement change initiatives, facilitate and communicate from a one-to-one basis and group setting to influence others.
  • Must possess strong business acumen, organizational skills, have strong communication skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including use of data, problem solving, and technology to effectively support learning and development needs
  • Proven experience with problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking to respond to employees in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ability to carry out human resources responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support the sites.
  • Accept additional roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning and Development or Organizational Development roles, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with learning technologies and LMS administration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, CPTM, or similar) are advantageous.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
