Position Summary

Job Description

Develops solutions and solves moderately complex problems gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and on-budget. Reviews product design and build requirements to determine tooling concepts, design options, testing plans, and specifications. Develops designs for fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting and forming tools, carts, racks, and other items to support production. Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create accurate, complete, and concise design models and documentation to fabricate tools. May carry out duties off-site as required based on project need.

Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 4+ years of related experience or a recognized apprenticeship.

May be required to maintain security clearance
