As our Sourcing Manager, CAPEX, you'll play a key role in enabling major capital investment projects across North America-partnering closely with engineering, project management, and site leaders to ensure smart, compliant, and value-driven sourcing decisions.

You'll join the CAPEX Sourcing Team within Engineering & Facilities Services (EFS), supporting enzyme production and manufacturing sites across the Americas. The team works collaboratively across regions and functions, combining strong procurement expertise with a shared commitment to Novonesis' purpose and Responsible Purchasing standards.

In this strategic and hands-on role, you will lead sourcing activities for CAPEX projects across multiple North American sites, balancing cost, quality, risk, and sustainability while supporting successful project execution.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing CAPEX sourcing strategies and procurement plans aligned with project and business objectives

• Leading supplier selection, including RFI/RFQ processes, tendering, bid evaluations, and award recommendations

• Negotiating pricing, terms, Incoterms, payment terms, and contracts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance

• Partnering with Project Managers to support change orders, claims handling, and supplier issue resolution

• Managing supplier agreements and performance to ensure delivery, quality, and value over the project lifecycle

This role has a regional scope, supporting manufacturing and enzyme production sites across North America.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within CAPEX or project-based sourcing

• Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management

• Experience working with procurement systems (SAP required; ScanMarket preferred)

• Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills with demonstrated business acumen

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures

• Experience developing capital sourcing strategies and managing complex supplier negotiations

• Familiarity with source-to-pay tools and e-procurement platforms

• Ability to manage high complexity, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a matrix organization

• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and value creation

• Location: West Allis, WI or Franklinton, NC (Hybrid)

• Travel: 20%

• Expected salary range: $95,000 - $115,000

• 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
