Electrical Apprentice-Student

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking Electrical Apprentices to work Part-Time in Norfolk, NE during registration in a Community College or Technical School - Electrical Training Program.

Job Summary

• Under direct supervision assists electrical journeyperson in installation and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and other equipment as a currently registered student in a 2-Year or 4-Year Electrical Training Program
• Works part-time while attending school on an as-needed work schedule and full-time during school semester breaks/non-attendance required periods
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current registration in Community College or Technical School Electrical Training Program
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain/maintain State of Nebraska Electrical Apprentice License
• Ability to read labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions
• Reliable transportation to and from work and training classes
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
