Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Marketing is focused on the management of color critical creative assets and provides support in areas of ordering, analysis, inventory/user management, and reporting on adstock consumption. The role will work closely with procurement, brand, design, and channel marketing teams across multiple business units to ensure color critical adstock materials meet timelines and budgets, as well as monitoring and reporting inventory and consumption to ensure alignment with the goals of each business unit. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end process of color critical creative asset production by partnering with external vendors, managing project deadlines, implementing in SAP, maintaining the budget, and forecasting material needs.
- Analyze and report on existing inventory and develop asset specifications to generate efficient bid strategies that optimize production schedules and project costs.
- Work with brand and channel marketers to maintain color critical inventory within their allocated budgets, identifying potential efficiencies through asset management.
- Generate reporting on SKU level inventory and material consumption reports to estimate months until out of stock and assist brand and channel teams with limiting over-consumption.
- Analyze consumption trends and brainstorm new ways of production with design and marketing teams to optimize spending within the budget.
- Maintain SAP connections, reconciling order failures (Idocs) and assisting with analysis of material movements.
- Update and maintain user and material listings for the adstock ordering platform.
- Serve as primary point of contact for external vendors, including requests for quotes, production updates, timeline management, and delivery coordination.
- Work closely and collaboratively with internal procurement team.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of inventory/asset management or project management experience and Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field are required. High potential individual with an interest in analytics or asset management. Other valuable backgrounds could include supply chain, procurement, or analytical roles.
- Experience with SAP, material and inventory management strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and organizational skills.
- The successful candidate must have excellent project management skills and be able to manage multiple projects at one time without missing deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter and eager to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Must have the ability to think strategically, and strong business acumen.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
