Maintenance Associate III - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

Install, maintain and repair electrical components of industrial equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

Essential Functions:

• Install, and repair electrical equipment, parts and control panels and bend conduit, pull wire and design electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all production machinery.
• Operate tools near electrical components.
• Ability to trouble shoot control systems required.
• Disassemble machines and perform necessary repairs using hand tools.
• Replace broken or defective parts.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
• Perform quality testing and inspections on electrical equipment.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Must have PLC knowledge.
• Perform routine upkeep and troubleshoot plc systems.
• Understand or decipher PLC ladder logic.
• Familiar with Allen Bradley and Direct Logic PLCs.
• Programming PLC preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to accept and implement feedback.
• Ability to trouble shoot control systems required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Willingness to preform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
• Ability to determine load and load limits on electrical services.
• Excellent attendance.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
• Must be professional, technical and mechanically proficient.
