Position Summary:
Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. (BBUSA) is transforming its marketing capabilities to accelerate branded growth. The Associate ConsumerInsightsplays a key role in supporting the company's consumer-centric efforts.Within the Marketing Center of Excellence (MCOE)team, this role supports the Senior Manager Consumer Insights, Core Brands, in executing research activities and ensuring insights are effectively incorporated into brand and businessdecisions.
This position playsan important rolein shaping consumer-centricdecisionsthrough supporting research design, analysis, storytelling, andcross-functionalcollaboration. The Associate leveragesbothquantitativeandqualitativetechniques to reveal compelling insights, inform brand strategy, and strengthen marketing activation. They bringadata drivenmindset, a natural sense of curiosity, and a commitment to elevating the consumer perspective across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of BBU's consumer insights strategy to address business needs and contribute to broader marketing initiatives.Critical areasimpactedby this role will includebrand strategy,marketing activation,andproduct development.
  • Manageday-to-dayaspects of consumer researchto ensurehigh-quality research outcomes fortheMorning & Snacking portfolio brands.
  • Day-to-day management includesbriefingresearchagencies,method selection,analysisanddevelopment of recommended actions to drivebusiness decisions.
  • Create streamlined reports using various sources, compiling results into a concise, meaningful, actionable format.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partnersto ensure research execution aligns with brand and businessobjectives.
  • Support the management of research budgets, timelines, and vendor coordination to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, or other related fields required. Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience in consumer insights, market research, or marketing, preferablywithdirect experience at a CPG companyor marketing research/insightsagency.
  • Proficient in selecting and applyingappropriate researchmethodologies, including concept testing, brand health tracking, packaging, and creative testing.
  • Experienced in developing and executing consumer research studies-from survey design and data analysis to synthesizing insights and presenting findings.
  • Strong ability to translate research results into clear, actionable recommendations that support brand and business needs.
  • Experience with syndicated POS,paneland receiptdata (Circana/Nielsen/Numerator) is a plus.
  • Solidproject management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strongcommunicationand presentation skills;able to summarizedata and insightsintocross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Domestic Travel: 10-20%
