This organization is committed to enhancing user experiences and streamlining complex workflows, impacting a broad user base through cutting-edge technology. As a partner, Aquent is dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with opportunities that drive significant impact.

Aquent is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to step into a pivotal role where your design expertise will directly shape the future of a critical digital portal. As a Product Designer, you will be instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into robust, user-centric interfaces, making a tangible impact on operational efficiency and user satisfaction across the enterprise. You will be at the forefront of design execution for a key portfolio, rapidly delivering high-quality UI that directly influences how users interact with essential systems and data.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be able to showcase samples of your work through case studies and/or a portfolio

What You'll Do:

  • End-to-End UI Design: Refine existing concepts into detailed user flows, meticulously covering happy paths, edge cases, error states, and "unhappy paths" to ensure a comprehensive user experience.
  • Information Architecture: Design intuitive navigation, clear page layouts, and seamless permission-based Single Sign-On (SSO) onboarding flows.
  • System Integration: Build screens using an established design system, leveraging Bootstrap components, and ensuring strict alignment with established visual standards.
  • Feature Design: Deliver comprehensive designs for critical features, including inquiry management workflows, intuitive admin interfaces, dynamic comment threads, and insightful basic reporting dashboards.
  • Collaboration & Handoff: Provide detailed annotations for developers, conduct thorough technical feasibility checks with engineering teams, and ensure full WCAG/accessibility compliance in all designs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Execution Focused: Demonstrated ability to take conceptual sketches and transform them into polished, scalable UI without the need to start from scratch.
  • Systems Thinker: Proven experience working effectively within established design systems and expertly reusing UI patterns to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Enterprise Experience: Familiarity with complex enterprise workflows, including Single Sign-On (SSO) onboarding, managing admin permissions, and designing for data-heavy inquiry lists.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Bootstrap UI components and comprehensive knowledge of responsive design principles. Proficiency using Figma is required.
  • Speed & Agility: Comfortable operating within a "continuous delivery" model and adept at iterative design reviews, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Sharp content design skills, capable of adhering to established brand guidelines and producing clear, concise documentation for engineering teams.
