Aquent is seeking a visionary **Packaging Designer** to join our client's dynamic creative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the physical identity of products for a beloved brand, driving creative innovation from concept to consumer. Your designs will not only captivate but also define the tactile experience of offerings across various categories, making a significant impact on brand perception and market presence. You will contribute directly to the visual language and consumer interaction with products, influencing key projects and initiatives that launch new lines and refresh existing favorites.

As a Senior Designer, you will lead the strategic creative development and execution of all primary and secondary packaging, seasonal programs, collateral items, bags, and creative mailers. You will be at the forefront of identifying new packaging opportunities, collaborating closely with leadership to push boundaries and bring groundbreaking ideas to life. This role offers a unique opportunity to see your creative vision translate into tangible products that reach a global audience, directly impacting brand success and consumer engagement.

**What You'll Do:**

* Generate highly innovative concepts and product designs that align with the overall brand strategy.

* Oversee the entire design and production lifecycle for all product packaging, from initial concept to final execution.

* Develop compelling concept presentations, including concept decks, mood boards, detailed drawings, realistic renderings, and physical models.

* Manage all departmental design-to-order processes and ensure adherence to packaging standards.

* Design for diverse consumer touchpoints, including specialty-multi and open-sell environments.

* Collaborate with comp houses to produce high-quality presentation comps.

* Manage packaging artwork and retouching processes to maintain brand integrity.

* Attend press runs and other production runs to ensure design fidelity.

* Work closely with cross-functional departments, participating in regular status meetings with various internal and external groups.

* Operate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration with colleagues in marketing, packaging development, creative teams, technical development, and third-party vendors.

* Support the sourcing and utilization of outside vendors, artists, and designers to discover and implement innovative packaging solutions.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 5+ years of related experience within the beauty industry.

* A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

* Demonstrated experience with 3D CAD/Modeling and rendering in a Mac environment.

* Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino, and/or other 3D modeling programs.

* Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes, finishes, and materials.
