Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public cultural location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout outdoor grounds, walkways, gathering areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor activity and site rules within the location, assist with access-related questions, and document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with post procedures.
• Support crowd management during public events, programs, and/or peak attendance periods by helping direct foot traffic, addressing concerns professionally, and contacting appropriate responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
