What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in alignment with location procedures and restricted area requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and support site personnel during evacuations, severe weather events, and other critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
