Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors, employees, and/or contractors entering the location by conducting access control checks and inspecting bags, packages, and other carried items in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or prohibited items in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry points and surrounding assigned areas, help to deter unauthorized access, and document daily activities, observations, and/or irregularities in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree in Criminal Justice.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
