Job Description
The Drivetrain Component Team has design responsibility for parts used across Client machines. This role is an Axle Housing Design Engineer in the Drivetrain Castings Component Team. Tasks will be directed by a Senior Engineer on the team and include concept modeling, stress & life analysis, assessing part nonconformance risk, amongst others.

Typical task breakdown:
-Concept design and part modeling using Creo.
-Stress & life analysis

Education & Experience Required:
-BS in Mechanical Engineering
-2-4 years of relevant work experience

Technical Skills
-Proficient in Creo
-Understands basic geometric tolerancing
-Proficient in Creo Simulate FEA
-Experience in steel or iron casting design
-APQP knowledge
-Practical / hands-on experience
-Strong mechanical aptitude
