This position reports to:

Project Manager - Operations

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support assigned aspects/projects by the Project Manager. Ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensure alignment with the team to execute the projects or areas of the projects per given deadlines and schedule.

  • Ensure compliance with ABB standards (Quality, Safety, Health, Cybersecurity, Environmental, etc.) and ethics, internal directives, and procedure(s), and contractual requirements. Support implementation of Governance model policies based on industry Project Management best practices.

  • Monitor, support, and create reports on project performance, deliverables expectations, execution, and resources effectiveness. Ensure all activities are captured in the selected tool to track tasks or templates.

  • Monitor execution, planning, finances per budget, control methods, and hand-over activities for internal and external resources (including contractors or outsourced activities) to accomplish project goals per SteCo expectations.

  • Identify risks, constrains, and needs from the cross-functional resources allocated to the projects to ensure action completion and for their development and process improvement.

  • Support/create project templates to be used cross-functionally for better visibility of performance, targets, and decision making in the best interest of the project.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration related field.

  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in project coordination, supervision or support of manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or electronic products assembly.

  • Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on positive influence on team/convincing skills, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
