Department Information
The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships. Job Summary

The Sr. Associate Athletic Director of Marketing & Fan Experience is responsible for driving strategic marketing, enhancing the fan experience, and overseeing all aspects of ticketing (ticket office and sales), creative services, and communication. This role leads efforts to maximize game-day engagement, increase attendance, elevate the athletics brand, and produce high-quality digital content across various platforms. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will supervise assigned staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Devise and execute a strategic plan to enhance the overall Georgia Tech fan experience which includes external marketing, gameday/in-venue production, ticketing, radio, hospitality, and related GTAA messaging.

Job Duty 2 -
Direct the day-to-day operations of marketing, fan experience, ticketing, creative services, video, and communication units, including the implementation of the unit's strategy and development and performance management of staff.

Job Duty 3 -
Lead the strategic vision for all aspects of live broadcast staffing and production for network telecasts and live streaming.

Job Duty 4 -
Represent GT Athletics with efforts and initiatives involving operational and business partners, including various Institute departments, external partners, and intercollegiate athletics organizations such as the NCAA and ACC.

Job Duty 5 -
Collaborate with conference and other GTAA units, and liaison with outside broadcasters, vendors, and stakeholders as needed for GT Athletics events.

Job Duty 6 -
Collaborate with other athletics department and non-athletics department units to effectively market Georgia Tech Athletics to facilitate incremental revenue.

Job Duty 7 -
Serve as administrator for assigned sports.

Job Duty 8 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS-
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE -
Eight or more years of relevant experience, including three or more years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED EDUCATION
Master's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
