Job Title: Project Manager External 4

Location(s): Newton, MA

Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technical solutions for customer projects. This role works closely with Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution within scope, schedule, and budget. The position requires strong project management capabilities, customer communication, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers on technical solutions in collaboration with the Sales Manager or Key Account Manager.
  • Clarify customer goals, requirements, and specifications included in Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Prepare and support participation in project tenders and lead negotiations with customers when required.
  • Coordinate overall project planning and determine appropriate allocation of resources.
  • Work closely with internal Project Managers to clarify project specifications and execution plans.
  • Monitor project milestones and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Initiate corrective actions to minimize risks and non-conformance costs.
  • Maintain continuous communication with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate agreed commissioning activities on-site together with Site Engineering Management when required.
  • Ensure compliance with Project Management standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (including tax regulations, export control, and EHS requirements).
  • Manage and coordinate temporarily assigned project staff.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the project or program.
  • Act as a functional or business process resource within projects and programs.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships and identifying sales opportunities.

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Frequent collaboration with clients, service providers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordination with internal departments and project stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • 4-8 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience managing small to medium complexity projects.

Certifications / Knowledge

  • Certified Project Manager (as per PM certification standards).
  • Proven ability to manage medium-scale projects and progress toward handling larger or more complex programs.
