Job Profile Summary: Installs, repairs, and provides technical maintenance for hardware and software primarily at customer locations. Ensures systems operate as designed and are maintained or upgraded per requirements. Works collaboratively with technical colleagues to ensure customers receive timely and effective service. Schedules services, completes administrative documentation, and ensures customer satisfaction with service delivery and product functionality. Key Responsibilities:
- Provides full audio/visual support for meetings, conferences, town halls, and client presentations.
- Takes ownership of onsite service activity and ensures issues are resolved efficiently.
- Performs advanced-level maintenance on supported products and completes low-complexity installation activities.
- Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems, and processes to improve service delivery.
- Supports and troubleshoots a variety of AV systems including room kits and Cisco conferencing systems.
- Understands audio, internet, power, and lighting cables such as XLR, DMX, -inch connectors, Speakon connectors, 3.5mm connectors, IEC, Cat5, Cat6, and related cabling.
- Works with audio DSPs, AV switches, DI boxes, and AV extenders.
- Identifies systemic issues and contributes to long-term technical solutions.
- Supports team members by providing technical assistance when needed.
- Maintains documentation and contributes to service metrics reporting.
- Proactively communicates technical issues and improvement recommendations to management.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred.
- Typically requires 2-4 years of relevant technical support experience.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM + after-hours standby.
Work Type:
- Onsite at customer locations
