Job Summary:
Be part of the team that keeps campus running- your work helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces that support UW-Madison's mission every day. Under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Program Supervisor, the 2nd shift Custodial Services Supervisor plays a key role in supporting FP&M's commitment to highquality service by supervising and providing direction for the custodial lead, floor technicians and custodians of a crew with hours 5:00pm - 1:30am. This position establishes custodial goals, identifies the tasks needed to meet them, and executes work plans that contribute to a wellmaintained campus environment. The 2nd shift Custodial Services Supervisor conducts work inspections, provides training and coaching on proper cleaning methods, and ensures the safe and effective operation of all equipment. Responsibilities also include removing equipment from service when necessary, arranging repairs, ordering supplies, and performing custodial duties such as operating floor care machines, completing general cleaning tasks, and assisting with snow removal. Ongoing/Renewable Full-Time: 100% FTE Hours generally scheduled Monday-Friday, 5:00pm- 1:30am. Occasional weekends and holidays may be required for this position. Work is performed onsite.
