- Engineering Technicians perform assembly and test operations of newly developed and highly complex semiconductor equipment.
- Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process to improve the quality of products for customers.
- Works closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new product introduction, such as manufacturability and form, fit, and function for future builds; identifies and resolves bill of material, technical discrepancies, and troubleshoots advanced semiconductor process equipment, while engaging with engineering and management.
- Performs assembly and testing associated with manufacturing operations, using mechanical drawings, technical work instructions, and electrical schematics; uses sophisticated programs and diagnostic equipment to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct real-time adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
- Effectively read and follow work instructions for proper product assembly.
- Create Problem Reports (PRs) and inspection instructions; work closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new product introduction, such as manufacturability and form, fit, and function for future builds.
- Troubleshot moderate to highly complex mechanical and software issues within an assembly manufacturing environment.
- Perform Risk Management by Walking Around (RMBWA) inspections and document, correct, and escalate safety issues/hazards to appropriate individuals/departments.
- Effectively work on a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Productivity Engineering Technicians support evolving test operations on newly developed and highly complex semiconductor equipment.
- Works closely with engineers to resolve issues related to product improvements, such as improving manufacturability, throughput, and high yield.
- Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process to improve the quality of products for customers.
- Works closely with and receives direction from productivity engineers to perform development activities operating semiconductor capital equipment as instructed for customer support.
- Executes experimental, detailed test plans in a clean-room environment, including wafer etch processing, wafer metrology, and data collection.
- Can manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Works well in a team environment, coordinating the use of highly utilized tools with other team members.
- Completes all required safety training; follows safe work practices and always adheres to personal and product safety guidelines.
- Supports a safe work environment by responding directly and quickly to unsafe practices; utilizing appropriate PPE following clean room procedures; following LOTO policies and procedures; and working safely.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, or software issues in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Technology or Electronics.
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Science or Technology or Electronics.
- Experience in the clean-room and semiconductor industry.
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
- Proactive attitude in accepting and taking on different tasks, helpful, "can-do" spirit.
- Experience with Lam etch tools and KLA metrology tools.
- Willing and able to move wafers (typically in boxes of 25) from ground to 48" or 60", typically loading such boxes onto wafer processing equipment.
- Operate computer interface and navigate diagnostic software, generally tech-savvy.
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PPT) and other common applications.
- Effectively read, write, and communicate with others in English.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safe practices and established protocols.
- Interface with others as required in the completion of workflow, treating co-workers with mutual trust and respect.
- Experience in semi-conductor/biotech or other related industry in a lab environment

- Able to work up to 12-hour shifts in a clean room environment wearing PPE (bunny suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear).
- Consistently demonstrate ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities (rework, overtime).
- Willing and able to install components from a working height between 12'-71' and reach into machines to perform tasks.
