We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Training Specialist to support onboarding, skills development, and operational training within a fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are properly trained on warehouse processes, safety standards, and operational procedures to maintain productivity and compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations and training, along with strong communication skills and the ability to mentor new employees while promoting a positive and safety-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and onboard new employees on warehouse operations including picking, packing, sorting, inventory, returns, and pallet building
• Deliver group and one-on-one training sessions using demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on instruction
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and training documentation
• Evaluate employee performance through training assessments and hands-on evaluations
• Maintain an accurate training matrix and compliance records
• Support Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety training and certification
• Partner with warehouse leadership, HR, and Lean teams to improve training programs and operational processes
• Conduct training audits and provide feedback to improve effectiveness
• Assist with cross-training employees across warehouse functions

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience
• 1+ year of training, coaching, or instructional experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and WMS systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in lead, trainer, or coordinator roles
• Background in safety training or operational process improvement
