Position Title: Operator Wage: $28.00/Hour Shift: Day Shift Hours: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Operator at a company in Janesville, WI. This is a potential to hire position for the 12-hour day shift. Apply today! Operator Responsibilities: - Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, LOTO, and hazard controls - Report safety hazards, equipment issues, and near-miss incidences immediately - Maintain compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards - Sanitarily collect product samples, complete quality checks (moisture, particle size, density, etc.), and record results using appropriate forms and Batch Metrics - Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of the equipment and work area to meet requirements, specifications, and food-safe or pharma -grade conditions as required - Maintain self, equipment, and working area in a clean and orderly manner following Spray-Tek and GMP guidelines including HACCP requirements - Comply with all Kosher and QM requirements - Setup, start, operate, and shutdown spray dryer systems according to production schedule, quality specifications, and customer requirements - Monitor and adjust temperatures, flows, pressures, and rates to optimize dryer performance and meet quality and customer specifications - Document production data, downtime, and process deviations using appropriate forms and Batch Metrics - Ensure that errors and issues are identified and corrected immediately by applying the escalation plan - Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting and resolution - Report major issues to maintenance applying the escalation plan - Provide direction to batchers and packers to ensure compliance with process and quality specifications - Actively participate in shift hand-offs, meetings, and process improvement activities - Communicate with incoming/outgoing Production Operators on status Requirements For Operator: - Basic math skills - Forklift experience Janesville@qpsemployment.com IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
