You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. You will document observations, respond to issues as they arise, and deliver customer service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
  • Control access by checking identification and/or credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing visitors and deliveries to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and oncoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
