Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Annville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech and telecommunications location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while communicating clearly and delivering reliable service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production or warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and document entries and exits per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, medical emergency notification, and coordination with site contacts and/or local responders.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, alarms, and incident response, and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
