Security Officer - Access Control

As a Security Officer - Access Control in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and guide visitors with outstanding customer service. You will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and communicate clearly to help reduce security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following site-specific access control procedures, checking identification, and directing visitors, vendors, and employees to the appropriate areas.
• Operate access control systems and maintain visitor, badge, and key control logs, reporting irregularities and/or policy exceptions per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Support facility entry and exit screening procedures, including managing delivery check-in and coordinating with site contacts for authorization as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
