Information & Referral/State Health Insurance Program Coordinator

We are seeking a professional individual with an undergraduate degree in human services or health care services, and/or who is licensed to practice social work in the State of Mississippi. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of full-time experience working directly with older adults and persons with disabilities. This role emphasizes compassionate person-centered practice, strong case management skills, and the ability to coordinate services across multiple agencies and community partners.

Core responsibilities and qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in human services, health care services, or related field, and/or current Mississippi social work license.
• Minimum two years of full-time experience working with the elderly and/or individuals with disabilities, including conducting assessments and developing service plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and produce clear written reports and to present information effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Proven supervisory skills and experience providing oversight, training, or direction to staff or volunteers.
• Outstanding computer skills, including familiarity with case management software, electronic documentation, and common office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to interview older adults, complete thorough intake assessments, and exercise sound judgment, tact, and confidentiality.

Applicants must have a reliable personal vehicle, current liability insurance, and the flexibility to travel throughout a nine-county service area. This position requires routine field visits and community outreach activities.
