Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer. The Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and managing the development, test, and delivery platforms that support cloudnative application development and operations at the Applied Development Center, Daikin Applied Americas. This role will support the evolution of our Azure DevOps ecosystem-driving automation, improving developer experience, supporting operations, strengthening reliability, and ensuring our cloud platforms scale securely and efficiently. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do:

• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools and services

• Write application deployment automation using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools

• Work with a team of developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning

• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements

• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling

• Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes

• Mentor and guide less experienced DevOps team members

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent

• 2+ years of Azure DevOps experience

• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps technologies and its tools

• Experience with ARM templates and deployment strategies

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or equivalent and YAML

• Experience incorporating the best DevOps capabilities into development

• Experience with monitoring Azure PaaS applications

• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Self-directed learner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure courses or certifications, including relevant course and certifications for an Azure DevOps role, as well as Microsoft Bicep language

• 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Bicep language

• Experience with the technical review process

• Completed relevant Microsoft Azure courses or certifications

• Experience with analysis of available technological solutions

• Experience with continuous integration

• Experience mentoring less experienced DevOps personnel about best practices

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,400-$147,400 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayedrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
