Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Team in DALY CITY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, complete detailed reports, and respond to resident concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns to the appropriate parties.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community streets, sidewalks, common areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and community activity, assisting with visitor direction, parking concerns, and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions.
  • Complete routine reports and logs, communicate clearly with residents and site contacts, and support property rules and posted policies through a courteous presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
