As a SOC/Console Operator - Gate Clearance Required in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document entries using a computer or tablet. You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Manage access control at entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor check-in and/or badging, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian access by checking deliveries, verifying shipping and receiving documentation as directed, and communicating unusual activity to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documentation, and timely notification of on-site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report findings according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
