As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-profile commercial real estate location, you will provide a visible presence while conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, giving you the opportunity to cover multiple areas and assist tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading dock areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including verifying authorization, issuing temporary access credentials as directed by site policy, and/or directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete detailed written reports and logs, document unusual activity, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and maintaining chain of communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
