The HR Business Partner - Workforce Analytics & Systems supports HR Leadership and designated business units by delivering strategic HR partnership, workforce analytics, onboarding leadership, and HR systems optimization.

This role strengthens the effectiveness of the HR team by translating workforce data into actionable insights, enhancing HR processes, and ensuring data integrity across HR programs. The position blends consultative HR support with strong analytical and systems capability to support informed decision-making, operational alignment, and execution of HR initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Champions "The Layton Way" by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.

  • Ensures that "Constructing with Integrity" is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work.

  • Partner with HR and Business Leaders to support workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to deliver insights that inform operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support preparation of workforce data, metrics, and analysis for quarterly business reviews and leadership reporting.
  • Assist HR leaders in executing HR initiatives and maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.

Workforce Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and data analysis to provide actionable insights for leaders.
  • Translate workforce data into meaningful insights to support hiring, retention, performance, and organizational planning.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data through regular audits and standardized reporting practices.

HR Systems & Process Optimization

  • Serve as a functional HR systems lead supporting configuration, testing, maintenance, and system enhancements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR Leaders, business leaders, and Corporate HRIS to identify system issues, troubleshoot defects, prioritize enhancements, and resolve reporting gaps or workflow inconsistencies.
  • Support HR technology initiatives including system implementations, workflow improvements, and automation efforts.
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, Payroll, Finance, and Operations to ensure system alignment and operational efficiency.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Lead onboarding coordination and ensure consistent and effective new employee experience.
  • Implement onboarding follow-up processes to measure effectiveness, gather feedback, and improve employee integration.
  • Support system-enabled processes related to onboarding, performance management, and other HR programs.

Compliance & HR Operations

  • Advise leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar HR role with demonstrated exposure to HR systems and analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present HR data to support decision-making.
  • Experience with HR technology platforms such as Oracle, Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities.

This position requires in-office presence at our Sandy, UT office and is not a remote role.
