We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Interoperability and Integration Engineer in the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC). The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division is a one-of-a-kind U.S. Air Force activity operating from Lackland Air Force Base which provides life cycle management for information assurance and other cyberspace support systems. The HNC division is responsible for technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cyber security systems and products.

- MA/MS in engineering and 15 years of experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
- TS/SCI level Clearance
JOB RESPONSBILITIES: The successful candidate must have the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in performing all tasks defined below:
- Configure Party Bus pipelines to automate metric gathering.
- Create enterprise data visibility for the AF CSO.
- Assist teams with developing stable delivery pipelines using recommended patterns and practices with our standard platform.
- Lead the creation of an automated metrics model and process for the Air Force and assist teams and leadership with what to measure and how to use those metrics to drive improvement.
- Help teams with the thought process, design, and improvement of the continuous testing processes needed to improve quality in the entire delivery process and detect defects as early as possible.
- Help teams uncover constraints in their development flow that prevent continuous integration, slow down delivery, and impact quality so they can be addressed as part of a continuous improvement process.
- Training of teams on the skills required to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
- Design support for architecting CD pipelines on complex legacy systems.
- Evangelism and skills workshops focused on the culture, automation, lean process, and metrics required for DevOps and Continuous Delivery.
- Support and establish DevOps conferences with internal and external speakers and learning opportunities.
- Establish a feedback cycle to support developer advocacy with seamless flow of information to platform value streams on improvements that can help the teams.
- Develop strategy to remediate the need for every team discovering good practices in isolation.
- "Coaching as a Service" Application: An application to allow teams self-identify delivery issues and then be directed to our technical and process playbooks to address those issues.
- Discovery and Development around how this can utilize gamification and automated suggestions for next steps.
- Use metrics and business results to recognize teams for improving outcomes with highly resilient applications that can quickly evolve to meet warfighter needs.

Specific Job Skillsets:
- Must be US Citizen
- TS/SCI Clearance required;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- 7 years of interoperability and integration engineering experience
- 5+ years of DevOps experience and continuous delivery
- Experience working with DORA dashboard or similar DevOps metrics tracking dashboard
- CISSP desired, Cloud Architecture, RMF exprience
