Senior Project Manager | Workplace

Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager in our Workplace Studio, you'll lead projects that will shape our clients' work environments, where their employees can do their best work. You'll drive the entire process from concept through construction-balancing client engagement, team coordination, and technical precision. You'll ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while fostering strong relationships with clients and consultants.

This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse mix of project types, from tenant improvements to ground-up large-scale office buildings. You'll bring versatility and leadership to projects that demand both creative problem-solving and technical expertise-flexing between big-picture strategy and technical guidance when needed. You will provide leadership and mentoring for Project Architects, Design Architects, Interior Designers and other team members, and may have influence outside of the project team. You will manage key client relationships, and assist with establishing new relationships.

Your Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of project delivery - entitlement, permitting, construction administration
• Client + Consultants: Act as the primary point of contact, driving clear communication and strong relationships
• Design Progress Monitoring: Ensure drawings and deliverables align with client expectations, project goals, and quality standards
• Team Mentoring + Support: Coach and guide project architects and designers; delegate tasks effectively
• Financial + Schedule Management: Control contracts, budgets, and timelines to keep projects on track
• Business Development: Assist the business development team with generating leads, pursuing new opportunities, and establishing new relationships

What Sets You Up for Success?

• Licensed Architect (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years of total project management experience, and at least 5 years of experience specifically in the Workplace market (office environments)
• Deep knowledge of building codes
• Knowledgeable in the use of Revit and its strengths/limitations
• Strong financial acumen - budgeting, scheduling, and contract management
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills
• Skilled communicator who builds trust with clients and consultants
• Strives to establishing new client relationships, and managing existing relationships
• Collaborative leader passionate about mentoring and team growth
• Problem-solver with sharp eye for detail and quality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with adaptability and confidence
