Position Title: Information Technology Equipment & System Administration Support Specialist

Position Summary
The IT Equipment & System Administration Support Specialist provides on-site system administration, cybersecurity compliance, help desk support, and full lifecycle IT asset management for over 650 users operating in NIPR and SIPR environments. The position ensures secure, compliant, and mission-ready information technology operations supporting Air Force infrastructure and emergency services functions.
Core Responsibilities
- System Administration (NIPR/SIPR): Install, configure, and maintain endpoints, peripherals, and network connectivity; perform monthly security updates to ensure DoD/DAF compliance and 95% uptime.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Enforce DoD/DAF cybersecurity policies; conduct MICT assessments; support OPSEC and Insider Threat programs; protect classified information.
- IT Asset Management (ITAM): Manage lifecycle accountability for all IT assets, including inventories, labeling, documentation, sanitization, and annual refresh/procurement planning.
- User & Account Administration: Create, modify, disable, and audit user accounts; manage permissions, groups, distribution lists, and approved software; conduct semiannual account reviews.
- Help Desk & Customer Support: Provide Tier II/III support using ServiceNow or similar systems; meet response SLAs (High: 30 min, Medium: 12 hrs, Low: 2 days) and maintain 90%+ satisfaction.
- Operational Support: Maintain TACLANE devices, support VTC/SVTC systems, administer CES SharePoint access, and serve as CES-IT subject matter expert.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum three (3) years of hands-on IT experience in enterprise environments
* Experience supporting Windows systems, Active Directory, network connectivity, and classified systems
* CompTIA Security+ (required)
* Must meet DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II certification requirements
