Comprising over 125 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), as well as clients in PEO Ships, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).


Responsibilities

General Position Description for Senior Acquisition Systems Engineer role:

The successful candidate will provide Acquisition and Systems Engineering support to the Systems Engineering and Integration Principal Assistant Program Manager and the Radar Technical Director within the NAVSEA Program Office. The candidate will likely also have supervisory responsibilities. A hybrid work environment is acceptable; however, you must have the ability to work from SPA's 20 M St. office and travel up to 5% of the time (e.g. NSWC DD, JHU/APL, NRL,ONR).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
